Introduction

A refreshing and sophisticated taste from Missé designed by Wayne our resident mixologist.

Ingredients

Rosemary Pear Martini

  • 1 measure Vodka
  • 2 measures Fresh Pear Juice, filtered
  • ½ Lime, Freshly Squeezed
  • 2 Small Sprigs Rosemary
  • Pear slice for garnish

Tools of the Trade

  • Measure or shot glass (30ml - 1oz)
  • Cocktail Shaker with strainer
  • Wooden Pestle
  • Martini Glass

Method

Place ice and water into the martini glass to chill it.

Remove the leaves from one sprig of Rosemary and place in the cocktail shaker with the Lime Juice. Use a pestle to press the rosemary leaves, we want to release their oils (40 seconds).

Add enough ice to reach half way up the cocktail shaker. Add vodka and pear juice, put the lid of the shaker on and shake vigourously for one minute.

Empty chilled martini glass. Strain cocktail into glass and garnish with remaining sprig of Rosemary and the slice of pear. Serve.
