Janette Hayhoe

Biography

Janette Hayhoe is a Toronto-born oil painter who works in the classical realist style.

She has an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts, a BA from Queen's University and studied classical realism, under the master painter Ted Seth Jacobs, at the Ecole Albert Dufois in France.

Janette works in oil creating representational style portraits, still lives, landscapes and figurative works. Her work appears in private collections in Canada, the United kingdom, Hong Kong and the United States and she is represented by galleries in Toronto and Montreal.

ANJOU PEARS - Janette Hayhoe

Janette splits her time between painting in the southern Loire Valley of France and teaching at Art Works Art School in Toronto. Having painted in our region of France for many years, Janette knows how the light and seasons work here. She will share her knowledge and her favourite painting spots with course participants.
